The fifth season of the popular martial arts series Cobra Kai, also known as Cobra Kai V, was released on Netflix on September 9, 2022. The season consists of 10 episodes and stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, and Mary Mouser. In this season, the students of Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do face new challenges as they prepare for the upcoming All Valley Karate Tournament.
The season premiere, titled "After the Fall," picks up where Season 4 left off, with the students reeling from the aftermath of the school fight. Cobra Kai is now under new leadership, with Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) taking over as sensei.
