Heinz Beanz fans are in mourning after the company confirmed it has AXED its organic range

The baked bean giants have confirmed to The Sun that they have stopped producing its organic Beanz, which have been on shelves for more than a decade.

Heinz said the decision was made due to "low demand" for the product, which launched in 2012.

Heinz Beanz fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment

One wrote: "Absolutely gutted that Heinz have stopped producing their organic baked beans. They were the best."

Another added: "I'm so disappointed that Heinz have discontinued their organic baked beans. They were my go-to brand. I'll have to find a new one now."

Heinz said in a statement: "We can confirm that we have made the difficult decision to discontinue our Heinz Beanz Organic range.

"This decision was made due to low demand for the product. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause.

"We would like to thank our customers for their support over the years and we remain committed to providing our consumers with a wide range of high-quality products."
